Available times for lessons January 2012
Happy New Year everyone!
I currently have vacancies available for tuition bookings on
THURSDAY 5pm to 6pm
FRIDAY 3pm to 4pm
SUNDAY 11.30am to 12.30pm
and also
SATURDAY 2pm to 3pm (alternate weeks)
These times are available for any instrument. There are also spaces available for mornings and daytimes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday which may suit people working shifts, or have a day off during the week.

A possible future for the music collection at Balne Lane?
The Wakefield Express are reporting that several MP’s are campaigning to save the music and drama library at Balne Lane, urging culture secretary Jeremy Hunt to do what he can to save it.
If the music and drama collection at Balne Lane is lost when the library closes next year, it will disdvantage many youth groups, and amateur dramatic groups who rely on this collection for scripts, as well as musicians who use the library to study. It is one of the biggest collections in the country.

I’ve uploaded another video to You Tube. This is my rendition of the classic Dick Dale instrumental Hava Nagila. I created the backing track with sequenced drums, acoustic bass and saxophone.

I am now taking bookings for lessons in advance for 2012.
Please contact me on 07756959699 or 01924 299214 to secure a time in the new year if you plan to start lessons after Christmas.
I normally receive enquiries with regards to lessons around Christmas time for new starters, usually to coincide with a new instrument, and in the new year I will be making even more times available to accomodate for this.

Lessons as a Christmas Gift – Special Offer
Its getting nearer to the end of the year, and Christmas will soon be approaching!
So how about making a surprise gift of lessons for someone, to help them along with their guitar or drums?
As an offer (until 24th December 2011) I am giving away a free lesson if you purchase a block of five. Thats £100 for six lessons – a saving of £20!
Once paid for, lessons can be used whenever is convenient for you (and the time is available), so you may want to use them straight away, in the new year, of even hold onto them for a little longer as a birthday present for someone!

Terms of the Offer
- The full amount of £100 is to be paid in one sum. This is non returnable
- You have flexibility to book times all at once, or on an “as and when” basis.
- 24 Hours notice is required for any changes or cancellations once a time is booked
- The offer may be suspended or withdrawn if there is excessive demand.
Saturday 11.30am time available
A Saturday time has become available at 11.30am to 12.30.
If this time is suitable for you, let me know. Saturday times are in demand and allocation will be on a first-come-first-served basis. As Saturday times are popular I can only offer the time to a regular weekly/fortnightly leeson.

5pm to 6pm
Morning times 9am to 12pm are available for regular slots Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Available times will be updated when changes occur.
